During my recent Easter escape to Achill Island, I had the pleasure of staying at the Valley House, a charming Victorian gem. The spacious rooms were a delight, offering both comfort and cleanliness at a budget-friendly price, perfect for travelers like us who appreciate value without compromising on experience. The lively pub quickly became a favorite spot for my friends and me, with its traditional music sessions creating a vibrant atmosphere that perfectly encapsulated the local spirit. Bringing a touch of home comfort, the self-catering kitchen allowed us to whip up our own meals, and the inviting courtyard offered a nice break after a day of exploring. While the fairy trail was unfortunately closed during our visit, we found plenty of other activities to enjoy amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the island. If you're seeking a laid-back yet spirited adventure in Achill, the Valley House is an excellent choice that keeps you close to nature and the community.
